Had nothing my to do on my restday so I decided to treat myself to a nature trip. I plnned this even before bu can't withstand the thought of going out alone. Nether I have been to the place nor familiar with the province yet I still pushed myself to it. Hehehe.

I took a van for Moalboal since there was none going directly to Badian. It took me 2hours and a half to get to Moalboal and had lunch somewhere in their town. I took a multicab going to Badian Public Market, dropped off from there and took another multicab going to Matutinao... WAh!

Anyway, I had so much fun despite the lonelines I felt with in; was able to think things through and released all my tesions. Lol. I love the trees; so green. I like the water; so cold and the school of fish swimming with me. :)

I just recently realized that I have became a tourist in my own place and there are great places that I never even get to visit (what a big slap!).

Anyway, went to Casa Gorordo Museum - the house of the first Filipino Bishop of Cebu. Photoshoot is never allowed inside but it is sometimes fun to break the rules... :p. We were like criminals when taking stolen shots. Good thing that we were never caught. Hehehe.

I had so much fun...!

Even with the ordinariness of my cam, I still sought to get good photographs. I love photography since I've had a camera which is the root of my trips to different provinces in Cebu. I'll soon visit some places outside this island but I'd like to sojourn this place firsthand because I don't wanna become a tourist of my own land.... hehehe.

Went to Carcar. I've passed by this place several times when I go to my cousin's house in Moaboal but never get the chance to drop by here before. Visited St. Catherine's church - the 2nd oldest church in Cebu; was amazed by their twin bell towers having a shape similar to a muslim mosques; also stopped by at St. Catherines School; thanks to the guard's hospitality.

June 28, 2008
Out company summer outing. It was my first time joining a dance competition in our company; I thought my passion for dancing has ended back in college but I realized I still love it. :) We didn't win of course; with me in the group I always bring bad luck... Hahaha.
By the way, it was held in Vistamar - the place is such a beauty; don't mind the beach. Lol.

This place is a paradise. I still can't believe I went there. It's a perfect place for honeymoon or if you want to bring someone dearly and give him the best day of his life. :) In fact, I would want to bring my lover here if I get to have one. Hahaha. Far beyond to happen, nobody wants me. :p

Anyway, this is located in Sogod Cebu - up north; over 2hours ride from the city. Heads up, the rooms are really expensive but you can visit the for a day and you can stay overnight if you'd want to enjoy the luxury.

4 things to visit in Argao
1. Municipal Hall - went inside their municipal hall. The employees are very friendly. You can even take a photo w/ their mayor Hon. Edsel Galeos, that if you're one lucky person he's in his office, but not a good timing; he was out attending a mass during my visit. :(
2. St. Michael Archangel Parish - one of the oldest churches in Cebu.
3. Alex Kafe - a very cheap place to have a merienda. They served tortas and hot chocolate drinks. Tortas @ Php35; don't know with their tsokolates. This cafe is just a few walks from the church.
4. Riverstone Castle - you still have to take a tricycle ride from the church - Php20 fare. Entrance is Php40. You can stay overnight and enjoy their pool. Php1,000 for 2 persons. They also have 6persons/room but don't know how much. They also served pizzas at Php200.

It's my restday, I feel like doing suicide but in an usual way. I don't like the idea of tying myself with a rope 'til I'm ou of oxygen; cutting my wrist 'til I ran out of blood; jumping off from the tallest bldg and have my bones break into pieces --- those are a way too conventional. I'd like to die in a means of something beneficial; like feeding myself to a reptile... to a crocodile. At least, I am of use 'til my last breath. Hmp! --- Crocolandia

The place is in Talisay Cebu. How to get there? Go to Citilink and ride a jeepney going to Talisay - fare is Php10.50. Ask the drive to drop you off at Biason crossing where trisikads are parked. Get a trisikad ride going to Crocolandia - fare is Php6. Entrance is Php80.00.

Enjoy the pictures!

A lighthouse is a tower, building, or framework designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses or, in older times, from a fire and used as an aid to navigation and to pilots at sea.

This lighthouse can be found in Liloan, Cebu. It's 18 km away from the city proper. How to get there? Find a public utility vehicle somewhere in SM going to Liloan. Drop off by their church and get a tricycle going to this magnificent architecture built by Americans in 1904.
